Apocryph: An Old-school Shooter Free Download

Updated: Mar 11, 2020

About This Game Apocryph is a FPS set in a brutal dark fantasy world. It takes it's roots in old-school fantasy shooters, so prepare for intense sword-and-sorcery FPS action amidst forgotten castles, evil shrines and decrepit dungeons! The world of Apocryph is a grim, violent place, harboring magic, dark rituals and dangers around every corner. Wherever you go you'll be facing unrelenting monsters, traps and locked passages, and can only depend on yourself and your equipment to survive the trials.- Static, carefully handcrafted levels and level-hubs, all packed with secrets, monsters and traps.- Your character can wield up to 9 different weapons with alternative fire modes, including melee armaments, spells, staffs and artifacts. - Items can help you in tough situations, health potions will aid your health, mana vials can restore your mana, combat items can do some damage to an opponent. - There are also more rare and powerful relics to be found, such as the dreaded Obliterator Mask, which encases you in a suit of nigh-impenetrable armor, allows you to bash enemies with your plain fists and send powerful shockwaves across the walls and floor, or the Essence of the Reaper, which turns you into an avatar of Death itself, boosting your speed, granting you wings to perform double jumps and a wicked scythe which cleaves and destroys any opponent.- Some weapons and items can be used to stun enemies, freeze them solid, deal area of effect damage or even provide defensive measures.- The game uses a sophisticated gore system. A powerful finishing blow can rip a part of the enemy right out of him, while critically over damaging an opponent literally blows them to pieces, with limbs flying across the room and sticking to the walls. You control the Arbiter, once a person of a high rank in Xilai religious hierarchy. The Xilai were known for many things, such as their artistry, magical arts and unity. But all the worlds feared them for a different reason - the Xilai worshiped Death itself. For centuries they raided countless worlds, reaping souls in the name of their dreaded Mistress. Events preceding the game have led to your exile, and now, after many years you return back, only to find fortresses and lands overrun with demonic spawns and vile beasts. Why were you exiled? What could cause this desolation? It's time to find some answers... and reap some demon spawn in the name of Pale Mistress. 7aa9394dea Title: Apocryph: an old-school shooterGenre: Action, Adventure, IndieDeveloper:Bigzur GamesPublisher:Bigzur GamesRelease Date: 27 Apr, 2018 Apocryph: An Old-school Shooter Free Download apocryph an old-school shooter steam. apocryph an old-school shooter switch review. apocryph an old-school shooter switch. apocryph an old-school shooter review. apocryph an old-school shooter pc. apocryph an old-school shooter gameplay. apocrypha an old-school shooter trainer. apocryph an old-school shooter pc. apocryph an old-school shooter *2018*. apocrypha an old-school shooter (2018) pc. apocryph an old-school shooter gameplay. apocryph an old-school shooter switch. apocryph an old-school shooter. apocryph an old-school shooter switch review. apocryph an old-school shooter скачать. apocryph an old-school shooter download. apocryph an old-school shooter скачать. apocrypha an old-school shooter трейнер. apocryph an old-school shooter *2018*. apocryph an old-school shooter. apocryph an old-school shooter review. apocrypha an old-school shooter трейнер. apocrypha an old-school shooter (2018) pc. apocrypha an old-school shooter trainer. apocryph an old-school shooter download. apocryph an old-school shooter steam It was pretty fun, and took me exactly 4 hours to beat. Unfortunately, the game was left unfinished - after an abrupt end you are faced with a screen of text that basically tells you that the next act is supposed to begin... but it doesn't, you just end up back at the main menu, the end (no, it doesn't actually even say that!). It's a shame that it was abandoned, because some things about the game were really quite good - like the weapons and the large amount of enemies that was thrown at you for disintegration. I picked this up on sale and that's what I recommend doing, as it's not quite worth the full asking price in the state it was left in.. A game that has all the characteristics that define an old school retro FPS but falls short of high expectations.Throughout my entire playthrough, I never felt as though I was playing a 90's FPS game. It's a game you can tell is made in Unity right from the jump. That's not at all a good thing but it's not all bad either. It felt sluggish and slow in comparison to games like DOOM and Quake and doesn't really deliver when it comes to the speed and ferocity you'd expect from those kind of games. If you give up on the expectation of getting another Quake clone, it becomes quite enjoyable for what it is.I really dislike the way the developer chose to spam monsters, it doesn't feel fluid, especially at the highest difficulty, you'll find yourself running into a room and having 20 super strong crocodiles spawn right next to you which can mean instant death or hopping backwards repeatedly killing them all from a distance. At first I was enjoying the challenge but it happens far too often and soon becomes tiresome.I was quite impressed with the Pixelize and Fractured Animation options that where presented, as well as things like a FOV slider (though needs numbers) and a Simple UI option, which made the game a whole lot more immersive and enjoyable in my opinion.I would love an option for Ultrawide resolutions, especially 21:9 as that's what I'm currently using. I've never been fond of vertical black bars. The options menu also needs some bug fixes, changing options mid-game can be very hazardous, as well as it not always remembering keybinds and settings. Aside from these minor annoyances, the game doesn't have any game breaking bugs, which is always a positive in my book.Overall, Apocryph is a decent arcade style FPS with a wide variety of super weapons, monsters and levels to power through. Just don't expect another perfect Quake clone like DUSK.. It was pretty fun, and took me exactly 4 hours to beat.
